Also known as full-mouth restoration in just one day. It is a method in which an entire denture (upper or lower jaw) is supported by 4 or more dental implants.
It is a fixed restoration that cannot be removed by the patient.
The method avoids bone grafting, which is a time-consuming procedure. Instead, implants are placed at an angle to support the denture. A temporary bridge is fitted on the same day, so the patient has a functional set of teeth straight away.
After a few months (6 months at most), the temporary bridge is replaced by the permanent one.
This method has many advantages compared with removable dentures.
It is completely safe and far more functional for the patient, as it provides a natural look and feel. In practice, you will not face any of the usual problems of removable dentures when speaking or chewing.
It is a permanent solution with a long-term prognosis, maintained just like your natural teeth.
