What is the hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of our body and mostly of our skin – at a rate of 56%- and its necessity is the firm and youthful appearance of the skin.

Overtime, the natural production of hyaluronic acid decreases, resulting in the formation of wrinkles, a reduction of the volume of the lips and an overall appearance of a tired and sad face.

What are hyaluronic acid implants?

It is a safe and painless wrinkle repair treatment.

A clear gel of hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin. The gel is tissue-friendly and mimics the hyaluronic acid naturally present in our body.

It reduces the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, maintains the contour of the face, provides volume and rejuvenates the skin.

Is this treatment painful?

The treatment is painless. We can, however, apply an anesthetic cream onto the face 30 minutes before application to the area, or use local anesthetic, depending on the area that we perform the operation.

How long does the result last?

The treatment lasts about 30 minutes and the patient can immediately return to work. In the next couple of days, a slight swelling might appear in the area and the results are visible after the 3rd day of the application.

The results of the treatment last 3-6 months depending on the area applied and the type of hyaluronic acid implant.

In which areas it is applied?

Are there any side effects?
